Overview
  • AP EAMCET is a state-level exam conducted for admissions to Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses offered at more than 425 private institutes in Andhra Pradesh state. 
  • JNTU Kakinada is only the exam conducting authority for AP EAMCET on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
  • AP EAMCET 2021 application form will be released soon by JNTU Kakinada on its official website.
  • The AP EAMCET 2021 notification will be released by APSCHE in a press release.
  • The AP EAMCET 2021 exam dates will be available for Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical exams separately.
  • The AP EAMCET 2021 will be held in two shifts.
  • The first shift is held from 10 am to 1 pm while the second shift is conducted from 2:30 pm to 05:30 pm.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada was originally ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagapatam’ in 1946.

Application Details
  • AP EAMCET 2021 application form will be available in the fourth week of February 2021 in online mode. 
  • No offline AP EAMCET application form will be released by the authority. 
  • The application process of AP EAMCET 2021 activated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. 
  • Only those candidates who have submitted AP EAMCET 2021 application and paid their fees can make modifications in the entered data till the last permitted day. 

Documents Required to Fill AP EAMCET Application Form 2021

  • Class 12th hall ticket number/roll number

Steps to fill AP EAMCET Application Form 2021

Step 1: Application fee payment

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of AP EAMCET 2021
  • Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link available on the website homepage
  • As soon as one clicks on the above-mentioned link, a web page with registration fee payment procedure will appear on the computer screen
  • There are two modes of making registration fee payments along with their respective procedures. The two modes of payment are through AP Online or through debit or credit card. Candidates can choose the mode of payment that they find appropriate.

On selecting registration fee payment via AP online, the following steps have to be followed:

  • Opt for the nearest AP Online centre.
  • Visit the above centre along with important details such as qualifying examination passed, hall ticket number of the qualifying examination i.e. Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent and details such as the name of the candidate, father’s name, date of birth, contact number, email ID, stream applying for, etc.
  • Fill the form at the AP online center and pay the requisite fee. Thereafter, you will receive a receipt form for the registration amount paid. The receipt contains the transaction ID.
  • Next, visit the official website of AP EAMCET 2021 and log in using the transaction ID you have been provided with.
  • Click on the “Application Form’ button.
  • Thereafter, fill all the fields of the online application form with the required details.
  • Then verify all the details carefully and click on `Submit Button.
  • Next, the filled-in application form is generated which contains a unique registration no., as well as application details.
  • Save the filled in application form and take a printout.

On selecting registration fee payment via debit/credit card, the following steps have to be followed:

  • Click on “Pay online using your Debit/Credit Card” button to navigate to the “Payment Gateway”.
  • Fill the details in the fields that follow.
  • As soon as the payment is made successfully, you will be given a transaction ID for all future correspondence.
  • Click on the “Application Form’ button and fill all the fields of the online application form with required details.
  • Verify all the details carefully and click on `Submit` Button.
  • The filled-in application form will be generated containing a unique registration number as well as application details.
  • Save this filled in the application form and take a print. This form needs to be submitted in the exam hall.
  • Note down the registration number and keep it for all future correspondence.

Note: Candidates applying for AP EAMCET 2021 first need to pay the application fee. Filling the application form is the second step.

Step 2: Filling of AP EAMCET Application Form 2020

Candidates will have to fill fields marked with an asterisk in the application form of AP EAMCET 2021.

Step 3: Uploading scanned images of photograph and signature

  • Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. 
  • If a candidate has already appeared/ passed intermediate (regular), their photographs and signatures will automatically be populated from the already existing intermediate base and will consequently be frozen.

  • Test centre preference: The candidate will have to select any two districts in order of preference. Further, for each district, three preferences are allowed. Once all the details are entered, agree to the terms and conditions and click on the ‘Submit’ tab to complete the application filling process.

Step 4: Taking a printout of complete application form

  • Once the application form of AP EAMCET 2021 is submitted, the complete form will be displayed on the screen. 
  • Candidates must take two to three printouts of the completed application form 2021 for future references. 

Steps to check AP EAMCET Application Form Status?

  • The conducting authority will provide candidates with an option to track the progress of the AP EAMCET application form on the official website. 
  • The tracking system will be updated after 72 hours of completion of the application process. 
  • An option `Track Application Status` will appear on the screen. 
  • Candidates will have to enter their application number, password, and security code to know the progress of the application form submitted online.

AP EAMCET Application Form 2021 Correction Window

  • JNTU Kakinada will open AP EAMCET correction window in the first week of April to edit/modify details in the application form. 
  • The window will remain active in the second week of April 2021. 
  • Candidates who have filled in the applications can make the corrections (if required) in online mode only. 
  • Application form correction facility is available to only those candidates who have completed all the steps of application.

How to make corrections in AP EAMCET 2021 Application Form?

Physics: In Physics, questions have been asked on mass, speed of light, vacuum, velocity, force, inclination, power, gravity, inertia, hydraulic pressure, thermal conductivity, temperature, kinetic energy, wavelength, frequency, convex and concave lens, refraction and reflection, magnitude, electricity, galvanometer, protons and neutrons, electricity, magnetism, radioactivity, and wires. Questions are bit complex; therefore candidates might face problems unless they are attentive.

Chemistry: In Chemistry, questions have been focused on hydrogen, electrons, enthalpy, dipole moment, chemical bonds, covalent bonds, molecules, acids and bases, temperature of water, solubility, boiling and melting points, hydrocarbons, metals, noble gases, chemical reactions, nitrogen, electrolysis, thermal decomposition, acidic oxides, polymerization, organic chemistry, etc. The questions in chemistry are moderate.

Biology: Questions in Biology have been asked on various micro topics of plant physiology, human / plant reproduction, cell structure and functions, genetics relating to botany and zoology, molecular biology, microbes, anatomy, applied biology, etc. Questions in this part are easy but candidates have taken more time to read each question, therefore many candidates feel that questions are rated as moderate.

  • The seat allotment result can be checked by visiting the official website. 
  • The counselling process will be conducted for admission to BTech/Pharmacy courses in the colleges/universities of the state. 
  • Based on the ranks obtained in AP EAMCET 2021, candidates will have to appear for AP EAMCET counselling. 
  • The authority had will release complete AP EAMCET 2021 counselling schedule. 
  • AP EAMCET 2021 counselling will be held by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council OF Higher Education) in online mode.
  • To appear for AP EAMCET counselling, candidates have to first register online and then they need to appear in person at the Helpline Centres. 
  • After the counselling process, candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges of AP EAMCET.
  • AP EAMCET authorities conduct counseling in two rounds, spot round if need be.

AP EAMCET 2021 Counselling Eligibility 

  • To be eligible for AP EAMCET web-based counselling 2021, candidates must have qualified in APEAMCET 2021 examination and obtained a rank
  • Shall have qualified in 10+2 or its equivalent examination
  • Other Category (General) candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (44.5% and above) in group subjects
  • Reserved category candidates [BC/SC/ST] shall have obtained 40% marks (39.5% and above) in group subjects.
  • All candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on December 31, 2021.

Counselling Procedure

Step 1 – AP EAMCET 2021 counselling fee: 

  • The eligible candidates have to pay the processing fee for counselling. 
  • The counselling fee has to be paid through online mode (credit/debit/net banking). 
  • After the transaction, an SMS confirming the same will be sent to the candidates. 
  • For payment of processing fee, use a computer facility available at home/internet cafe having Internet Explorer 9.0 or above browser.

Steps to pay AP EAMCET Counselling Fees:

  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the Processing fee payment online link.
  • To make the payment candidates have to enter their AP EAMCET admit card 2020 number and rank obtained in the exam on `Pay Fee Online` will be displayed on the screen
  • Click on OK button
  • Candidates will be directed to payment gateway
  • Pay the fee through the online payment gateway process
  • Note down the reference number for future reference or take a printout of the fee payment receipt by click on the Print button

  • After payment, login ID and registration number will be provided through SMS for the mobile number submitted by those candidates whose certificate data will be verified through web services. 
  • For candidates whose certificate data is incomplete, an SMS is sent to attend for verification of certificates at HLC. 
  • Data of the candidates whose certificates are verified will be displayed in candidate login. 

Step 2 - Verification of Document: 

  • Candidates will have to report to their respective helpline centres after the payment of the counselling fee for verification of documents. 
  • Both original and photocopies of the documents have to be provided by the candidates at the centres. 
  • According to the secured ranks, the candidates will be called in for the verification of documents. 
  • A slip or receipt will be given to the candidates after their documents are successfully verified. 
  • Information provided in the slip has to be checked for any discrepancy.

Step 3 - Filling of Choices:

  • Candidates will have to fill their choice of courses and colleges as per preference. 
  • Before filling the choices, the candidates will have to register and create a new password. 
  • Candidates will have to submit their registration number, hall ticket number, rank and date of birth
  • A new password has to be created by the candidates
  • Candidates will be required to login again by submitting their ID number, hall ticket number, password and date of birth
  • An OTP will be sent to the candidates. After submitting the OTP. the list of available institutes and courses will be displayed on the screen
  • Candidates will have to select their preferred choice of courses and institutes. Any number of courses can be selected
  • Modification of choices can be done before the locking is done. No changes can be done once the choices are locked

Steps to Recover Forgotten Password 

  • Candidates will have to enter the registration number, hall ticket number, rank and date of birth
  • Checkbox has to be clicked to get the new password through an SMS on the registered mobile number
  • Click on the "Get new password" button
  • New password will be received within 30 minutes 
  • Candidates will also be able to approach the helpline centres with their details to get their password.

Step 4: AP EAMCET 2021 Seat Allotment: 

  • There will be three rounds of AP EAMCET seat allotment. 
  • Authority will conduct the allotment as per the merit, category, and reservation of candidates, selected preferences and availability of seats in the participating institutes. 
  • Allotted candidates will have to download their allotment letter by logging into their individual candidate account. 
  • Candidates if satisfied with their allotted seat then they will have to confirm their admission by self-reporting and then reporting to their respective institute. 
  • Candidates who self-report but fail to report at the allotted institute will be disqualified; however they will be allowed to participate in the next rounds of counselling. 
  • Candidates who fail to do both will not be allowed to participate in any further round of counselling.

Cut-Off
  • AP EAMCET cut off 2021 will be released by APSCHE in July 2021. 
  • AP EAMCET cutoff score is the minimum mark that candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission. 
  • Candidates who have appeared in AP EAMCET 2020 will be called seat allotment based on AP EAMCET cutoff marks and availability of seats in the particular institute. 
  • AP EAMCET cutoff 2021 scores will be different for all the categories and streams (Engineering and Agriculture). 
  • The qualifying percentage of marks for AP EAMCET is 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. 
  • In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.
  • AP EAMCET 2021 will be conducted in the third week of April in various cities. 
  • The forenoon session will be held from 10 am to 1 pm while the afternoon session will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Results
  • Authorities declare the results of AP EAMCET 2021 on the official website, besides the press conference. 
  • Authorities declare rank in each stream, i.e., engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, etc. separately.
  • Candidates can download their rank card by entering application number, date of birth and admit card number. 
  • The result of AP EAMCET 2021 is sent through email and SMS. 
  • Candidates will be able to download AP EAMCET results 2021 from the official website of the exam by entering their registration number and admit card number. 
  • After the declaration of AP EAMCET 2021 results, rank list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance exam. 
  • As per reports, 185711 students have appeared for AP EAMCET last year, of which 138160 candidates have passed in engineering stream. 
  • The pass percentage for agriculture and related courses is 83.64% while in the engineering stream; as many as 74.39 per cent students cleared the exam

Normalization Process in AP EAMCET 2021

  • The authorities will adopt the normalization process to rank all of the candidates on a comparative scale. 
  • Normalization will be carried out to equalize the difficult and easy papers of AP EAMCET 2021 which the candidates received. 
  • The following normalization procedure will be used by the authorities:
    • GMS + Top Average Global – GMS divided by Top Average Session - SMS
      X (Marks Obtained by the applicant – SMS)
    • SMS refers to (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the applicant belongs to GMS refers to (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the applicants across all the sessions together.
    • Top Average Session refers to average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates in the session in which the applicant belongs to Top Average Global refers to average marks of the top 0.1% of all the applicants across all of the sessions together.

What after AP EAMCET 2021 Results?

  • AP EAMCET cutoff score - The cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission. Candidates who have appeared in AP EAMCET 2021 will be called seat allotment based on AP EAMCET cutoff marks and availability of seats in the particular institute.
  • AP EAMCET counselling 2021- APSCHE will start the counselling process in the second week of June for admission to BTech programmes offered by the colleges/universities of the state. Based on the ranks obtained in the exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the AP EAMCET counselling. To appear for AP EAMCET counselling, candidates have to first register online and then they need to appear in person. After the counselling process, candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges of AP EAMCET.
Admit Card
  • AP EAMCET Admit Card 2021 will be released by JNTU Kakinada on its official website. 
  • Eligible candidates can download their AP EAMCET 2021 admit card by entering their login credentials till the exam day. 
  • Candidates are required to carry their admit card to the exam venue along with a copy of application form and caste certificate. 
  • Candidates, who do not possess the AP EAMCET 2021 admit card, will be exempted from appearing in the test. 
  • The exams admit card will include information such as candidate details, exam centre address, exam date and timings etc. 
  • In case of any discrepancy in the information on AP EAMCET 2021 admit card, candidates must immediately contact the admissions office and get the error rectified before the exam. 
  • The candidates are advised to preserve their AP EAMCET admit card 2021 until the admission process is over.
  • AP EAMCET 2021 will be held in online mode in two sessions.

  • Enter your AP EAMCET 2021 registration number, qualifying examination (10+2) admit card number and your date of birth (as registered)
  • Click on `Download Admit Card’ button to get your admit card
  • The AP EAMCET 2021 admit card will appear on screen, cross-check details like name, exam details and other information carefully
  • Download the admit card and take printout on a A4 size sheet (at least two copies)

Materials to be brought along with AP EAMCET 2021 Admit Card

  • Printout of AP EAMCET 2021 application form: Filled in online application Form with duly affixed recent colour photograph attested by Gazetted Officer (or) Principal of the College where candidate has studied the qualifying examination. However, signature of the candidate and Left Hand Thumb (LHT) impression in the presence of Invigilator to be captured in the respective places provided in the filled in online application form.
  • A good ball point pen: Candidates are required to carry a ballpoint pen for rough work, working sheets will be provided by the test centre.
  • Attested copy of caste certificate: SC/ST category candidates have to carry an attested copy of their respective caste certificate provided by the competent authority.

Exam Day Conduct and Guidelines:

  • Candidate are advised to reach the AP EAMCET test centre at least two hours before the scheduled timings i.e.
  • No candidate is allowed to the exam centre once the exam has begun even if they’re late by one minute. Therefore, they must reach the AP EAMCET exam centre on time
  • Candidates must carry AP EAMCET Hall ticket & filled in the Application form to the exam centres for verification
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST categories should carry a copy of their caste certificate along with AP EAMCET 2021 admit card and application form for verification at the exam centre
  • Candidates should not carry any prohibited items such as notes, study material, stationery, mobile phones, calculators, watches etc. AP EAMCET 2021 exam centre officials will check candidates for these things and any candidate found with any of the above items will not be permitted to take the test
  • AP EAMCET 2021 exam centre authority/officials will get biometric done for each test taker including fingerprint impression and photograph before allowing them into the examination hall
  • Only exam invigilators at AP EAMCET 2021 exam centres will direct the test takers to their allotted computer/nodes in the examination hall
