A candidate who has passed any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to B.E courses, and 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates

Should have obtained 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination. 45% of aggregate marks in all the subjects for all the years in the Degree examination in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and Category-I. Further, only the candidates of Karnataka origin will be eligible to claim reservation).

AITM Supports and Encourages sustainable and Quality Research Activities for the Staff and Students Community. Presently more than 40 Faculty members are involved in Research work and Registered for their PhD, at various Universities. The Institution also has Recognized Research centres in Physics and Chemistry Departments by VTU, Belagavi. Further, it is proud to say that, the AITM has received Three Research Project Grants from VGST along with Awards from the Department of Civil Engineering, Physics and Chemistry in the past two years.
